Job Title
Technical Platform & Integration Lead (Fractional to FTE)
Reports To: Deputy Program Director – Operations
Works In Coordination With: Enterprise CISO, Analytics Lead, Claims Operations Lead
Role Summary
The Technical Platform & Integration Lead provides operational ownership of the HWP InsightsWorks platform configuration, integrations, and technical workflows supporting the SBHS and MAC programs. This role ensures system stability, secure data exchange, access management, and technical readiness without engaging in custom software development. The position is governance-aligned and execution-focused, supporting day-to-day technical operations, change control, and audit readiness under established security and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Configuration & Integration
- Own configuration of the InsightsWorks platform aligned to State policies and workflows
- Manage and monitor system integrations (APIs, secure file exchanges, data pipelines)
- Coordinate technical onboarding of LEAs and external data sources
- Ensure data flows support claims processing, RMTS, cost settlement, and reporting needs
Access & Change Management
- Oversee user access provisioning and de-provisioning in accordance with RBAC and least-privilege principles
- Implement and manage technical change control processes
- Coordinate configuration updates tied to policy or program changes
Security & Compliance Support
- Operate within NJ SISM-aligned security controls and policies
- Coordinate with the Enterprise CISO on security reviews, incidents, and audit requests
- Ensure encryption, logging, and monitoring controls are functioning as designed
Operations & Incident Support
- Serve as the technical escalation point for system or integration-related issues
- Coordinate incident response with hosting providers and internal teams
- Support disaster recovery testing and system availability monitoring
Documentation & Audit Readiness
- Maintain technical documentation for integrations, configurations, and controls
- Support State, CMS, and PERM audit requests related to system operation
- Provide technical input for performance reporting and compliance documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7 years experience in systems integration, platform operations, or healthcare IT
- Experience supporting secure, regulated environments (healthcare, education, public sector)
- Familiarity with API integrations, secure file transfer, and data exchange patterns
- Working knowledge of access management, encryption, logging, and monitoring practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Medicaid, SBHS, MAC, or similar public-sector programs
- Experience operating within HIPAA and FERPA-regulated environments
- Familiarity with cloud-hosted platforms and vendor-managed infrastructure
- Experience supporting audit or compliance reviews

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $145,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
