Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to provide medical transport services. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring comfort and timely arrivals. This role requires a strong focus on safety, customer service, and adherence to transportation schedules.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport patients to medical facilities, appointments, or other designated locations.
- Assist patients with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, providing support as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and passenger details as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch or coordinators regarding schedules, delays, or special requirements.
- Provide compassionate and respectful service to all passengers, maintaining confidentiality when necessary.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in driving, preferably in medical or transportation services.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic laws.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to assist passengers with mobility challenges or medical needs.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Physical ability to assist with loading/unloading passengers if required.
