Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems utilizing schematics, control panels, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure automation systems function correctly.
• Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Conduct high voltage maintenance tasks safely, adhering to all safety protocols related to low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery alignment and calibration meet specifications.
• Perform welding (including welding), hydraulic repairs, and mechanical adjustments using appropriate tools like scissor lifts or other industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
• Support field service activities by troubleshooting onsite problems at various locations within the manufacturing facility.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards by communicating effectively with team members and internal clients regarding maintenance status or technical issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with industrial electrician tasks involving low voltage, high voltage, and control systems.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and CMMS software is essential.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of analysis skills for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical faults quickly and accurately.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to read technical manuals and schematics fluently.
• Industrial mechanic experience combined with a background in military or industrial electrician roles is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated safety awareness when working with high voltage or complex machinery in an industrial setting.
