Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems utilizing schematics, control panels, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure automation systems function correctly.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage spare parts inventory.
- Conduct high voltage maintenance tasks safely, adhering to all safety protocols related to low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery alignment and calibration meet specifications.
- Perform welding (including
welding), hydraulic repairs, and mechanical adjustments using appropriate tools like scissor lifts or other industrial equipment. - Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Support field service activities by troubleshooting onsite problems at various locations within the manufacturing facility.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by communicating effectively with team members and internal clients regarding maintenance status or technical issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with industrial electrician tasks involving low voltage, high voltage, and control systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and CMMS software is essential.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including
welding), and precision measuring instruments. - Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of analysis skills for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical faults quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to read technical manuals and schematics fluently.
- Industrial mechanic experience combined with a background in military or industrial electrician roles is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated safety awareness when working with high voltage or complex machinery in an industrial setting.
