The ideal candidate is an employee champion. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance. This is a is a hands-on leader, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources function, including employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance, organizational development and talent acquisition. This role partners closely with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and foster a positive, high-performing company culture.
Responsibilities
- Leadership of HR strategy to support organizational goals. Oversee talent acquisition partner, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development
- Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
- Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization
- Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent
Compliance & Policy
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee policy development, handbook updates, and HR documentation practices.
- Maintain and improve HR systems and reporting capabilities.
HR Operations
- Partner with Payroll and IT to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity within HRIS systems.
- Partner with third-party service providers to assure best in class service.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize HR workflows and reporting.
- Engage and manage HR third party vendors to assure alignment with company goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, human resources or other business related focus.
- Minimum of 7 years' of professional Human Resources experience, ideally in a MedTech manufacturing or service oriented business, with a combination of corporate and business unit line experience. Experience working in a Private Equity sponsored environment is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws and HR best practices.
- Able to manage confidential information and proven ability to build trust and influence leaders across functions.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paycor, Workday) and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead, organize, and prioritize work
Working conditions
The job is conducted in a professional office environment involving routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines. This role may include occasional overnight domestic travel.
