Job Title: Inspection AssociateLocation: Londonderry, NHPay Rate: $27–$28 per hourWork Environment: Bench area within the Receiving roomAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a skilled Inspection Associate to join our quality team and support a variety of precision inspection projects. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with a wide range of metrology tools, inspection equipment, and electronic assemblies to ensure top-tier product quality. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and suppliers, and play a key role in identifying issues early, improving processes, and keeping programs on track.If you enjoy detailed work, solving problems, and using advanced inspection tools, this is a great opportunity to grow your career!What You’ll DoPerform precision mechanical inspections based on dimensioned drawings using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, gage blocks/pins, surface plates, toolmakers microscopes, optical comparators, CMMs, and other standard equipment.Conduct visual inspections of electronic assemblies using microscopes and magnifiers.Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and create detailed reports as required.Communicate discrepancies verbally and through written reports to Supplier Quality Engineers/Technicians (SQE/SQT).Independently perform source inspections at local suppliers.Participate in MRB meetings and support SQE/SQT teams when needed.Maintain accurate and organized inspection records per company procedures.Flag equipment needs and recommend new or custom metrology tools when required.Identify Dock-to-Stock (DTS) candidates and present nominations to the SQE team.Partner with buyers, planners, design engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, and program leadership to support ongoing projects.Support supplier audits alongside SQE/SQT as necessary.Use computers daily to manage files, documentation, and reporting.Must-Have Qualifications (Hard Skills)High School Diploma or equivalent and6 years of relevant inspection experience or2-year technical/Associates degree with 2 years of related experienceStrong ability to interpret drawings/blueprintsHands-on experience with inspection tooling such as gauges, calipers, micrometersNice-to-Have Qualifications (Hard Skills)Experience maintaining records and documents per quality proceduresIPC-A-610 CertificationHexagon CMM certification (PC-DMIS software)Keyence Vision System programming experienceOptical lens inspection experienceMust-Have Soft SkillsStrong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with engineers and techniciansAbility to work independently when neededSelf-motivated with strong initiativeOrganized, detail-oriented, and reliableNice-to-Have Soft SkillsInterest in career growth and long-term advancement opportunitiesStrong problem-solving and communication abilitiesDeal BreakersMust be able to work onsite (no remote option)Candidates must show interest in professional growth and advancementPreferred Education/CertificationsHigh School Diploma requiredIPC-A-610 Certification preferred#ZipNashuaCompany DescriptionWe are HW Staffing, and our mission is to “Connect Great People with Great Companies.” Collectively, we are revolutionizing how staffing services support the employee and client.
