Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with precision inspection equipment, blueprint reading, GD&T, and statistical process control in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, optical measuring equipment, and hardness testers
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T requirements
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Monitor and analyze quality data using SPC methods and charts
- Identify and communicate quality issues and support corrective actions
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of quality control or inspection experience
- ASQ certification(s) preferred
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and precision measuring equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
- Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and charting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Experience with quality management software is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
