We're looking for a detail-oriented SMT Operator to help build high-quality electronic products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you have experience with SMT equipment and enjoy working with precision, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, and monitor SMT equipment, including Pick & Place machines, screen printers, and reflow ovens.
- Load and verify electronic components based on work orders and production schedules.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and proper component placement.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Clean and maintain stencils, feeders, nozzles, and other production tools.
- Monitor production runs and make machine adjustments to maintain efficiency.
- Assist with inventory counts and material handling.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to keep production running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of SMT operating experience in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with Pick & Place machines, screen printers, and reflow ovens is a plus.
- Ability to read work instructions and assembly drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
- Perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.
