Position Overview:
The apprentice will build upon their classroom studies through the Hotel Apprentice Program opportunities, learning first-hand about a hotel's operations. The apprentice will be introduced to the Hotel brand and culture. By gaining hands-on experience in the exciting world of hotel management, the apprentice will be better prepared to pursue opportunities post-graduation. The apprentice will learn and gain experience in various hotel departments by rotating through the following departments: Front Desk, Sales, Housekeeping and Laundry, Maintenance, Food and Beverage Service, Night Audit, and Operations Management.

Who Will this Job Appeal To:
- Must be enrolled at GCU as a Hospitality Management major or minor
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
- Reliable transportation is required
- Flexible shifts available from Sunday to Saturday, including potential night and weekend hours
- 20 hrs per week
- Apply theoretical knowledge and skills from GCU coursework to fulfill apprenticeship responsibilities.
- Gain insight into multiple hotel operational departments to understand their performance expectations.
- Complete assigned tasks confidently and to the hotel’s standards.
- Demonstrate professional conduct essential for the assigned responsibilities.
