What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant (Full-time Orthopedic Surgery) position at HVHS Brand?
Office location: HVMG Orthopedics, 1030 Beaner Hollow Road Beaver, PA 15009
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, rotating weekend call
Under the direction of a physician, provides clinical patient care such as taking medical histories, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and x‐rays, making preliminary diagnoses, treating minor injuries. Provides care in a specialty area.
Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Certification from the National Commission on Certifications of Physician’s Assistants. CPR certification. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Preferred
One year of primary care and/or internal medicine patient care experience. Previous experience in specialty area, ACLS certification.
