What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager position at HVH Optometry?
We are seeking an office manager for our busy independent optometric practice located inside the Tumwater Costco. We are a small office, medium patient volume, and fast paced where team members are cross-trained to handle all duties as needed. This is a new business and we would like to add a long term member to our team. Previous office manager experience is desired and any type of experience in optometry or ophthalmology and/or optometric/ophthalmic certification/license is preferred as well as proficiency in languages other than English.

o Billing insurances and patients for optometric services.
o Knowledge of obtaining insurance eligibility and authorizations
o Patient scheduling, check-in, pre-testing & contact lens wear training
Requirements:
o Good computer, phone, and keyboard skills
o Self-directed, with strong organizational and time management skills
o Energetic, positive personality; experience in working well with a team & the public
o Be available to work during business hours, trainable and willing to learn
