Summary
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team In this role, based in the United States, you will be responsible for transporting HVAC equipment and supplies to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries that align with our commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive various types of trucks to deliver HVAC equipment safely and efficiently.
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
- Forklift certification required.
- Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driving is essential.
- Familiarity with route planning and navigation systems.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Ability to operate different types of trucks including flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers is a plus.
- Good understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
