What are the responsibilities and job description for the De-Burr and Finishing position at HVA?
Job Overview
HVA may have need for 1 to 2 openings in its De-Burr and finishing department. This is an entry level position. Sucessful candidates may also have the opportunity to try out as a CNC machine loader.
Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet specifications.
- Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, polishing, and de-burring to enhance product appearance.
- Operate finishing equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Report any defects or issues to supervisors for resolution.
- Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a finishing role or related field is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify imperfections in products.
- Familiarity with various finishing techniques and tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
