**This position is based in Wytheville, VA. Candidates who meet the travel requirements may be eligible to receive per diem in accordance with company policy and project assignment.**

You’re steady under pressure, respectful with patients, and know that good care isn’t just about skill—it’s about presence. You’re not afraid of travel, long shifts, or a little rain, and you’re comfortable navigating rural routes as easily as busy event sites. Responsibilities

  • Administer emergency medical care, including respiratory, trauma, and cardiac interventions, and conduct patient assessments (ex: drug screenings, BATs).
  • Perform record-keeping, filing, and data entry as required, excluding treatment-related records.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards.
  • Provide information on medical treatments and procedures, promoting a culture of health and safety.
  • Measure vital signs and collect specimens
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided.
  • Monitor worker health and manage preventative care on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain readiness for on-site incidents.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work 50-60 hours per week.
  • Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts (M-F, occasional weekends)
  • Must be able to work 8 week/1 week rotation – work 8 weeks and rotate home for 1 week
  • Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift.
  • Ability to climb without difficulty.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, handle or feel objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in small spaces.
  • Ability to talk, hear, and taste/smell while performing job duties.
  • Must have a favorable driving record for the past 5 years.
  • Must pass detailed Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.
  • Ability to work independently in remote or isolated locations.
  • Must have strong team collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific safety procedures (ex: construction).

Skills and Experience

  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making in high-pressure situations.
  • Skilled in administering emergency care (CPR, trauma management, etc.).
  • Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, local/state regulations).
  • Proficient in medical record-keeping and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with workers and management.
  • Physical stamina to lift, assist, and manage patients.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under stress.
  • Experience as an Basic Life Support (BLS) provider

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate or equivalent

Compensation Transparency

The hourly pay rate for this position is $27 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

This position is also eligible for per diem.
