This position demands a licensed Paramedic who consistently leverages deep field experience to demonstrate superior judgment, decisive action, and absolute reliability. Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises field medical personnel, including scheduling, shift assignments, performance coaching, and routine evaluation.
- Exercises independent judgment in solving operational problems, adjusting staffing, and escalating issues appropriately.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for client leadership, internal management, and partner organizations regarding onsite medical operations.
- Ensures Medical Emergency Response Plans (MERP) are developed, updated, implemented, and tested across all assigned project sites.
- Reviews and approves shift reports, incident documentation, and operational records for accuracy and compliance.
- Oversees onboarding and continuing competency assessments for staff, including equipment use, care proficiency, and emergency response readiness.
- Ensures compliance with all clinical protocols, OSHA safety standards, state regulations, and company policies.
- Provides guidance and direction during medical incidents and largescale responses, including coordination with EMS and safety teams.
- Manages inventory systems and allocates medical supplies, equipment, and medications across multiple project sites.
- Oversees preventive maintenance schedules, calibration, and testing for diagnostic and telemedicine equipment.
- Analyzes operational performance metrics and prepares weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for leadership and client stakeholders.
- Participates in budgeting discussions related to medical supply purchasing, staffing levels, and equipment needs.
- Identifies operational risks and develops process improvements, training programs, and corrective action plans.
- Conducts periodic site inspections to ensure clinical quality and operational readiness.
- Provides direct clinical care within scope of practice when staffing shortages, special events, or urgent situations require it.
- Supports staff in advanced or complex patient care scenarios and ensures appropriate use of telemedicine resources.
- Must have strong team collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of industryspecific safety procedures (ex: construction).
- Must have a favorable driving record for the past 5 years.
- Must pass detailed Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.
- Ability to work independently in remote or isolated locations.
- Proven capacity to empower and inspire team members to deliver their best work.
- Previous manager experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decisionmaking in highpressure situations.
- Skilled in administering emergency care (CPR, trauma management, etc.).
- Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, local/state regulations).
- Physical stamina to lift, assist, and manage patients.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under stress.
- Experience as a Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider
- Required certifications and licenses
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certificate or equivalent
- Driver’s license
- NREMT Paramedic License or State License
