HV Health & Safety is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the next chapter of growth for our Safety Services Division.

Lead the Business
- Develop and execute the long-term strategic vision for the Safety Services Division.
- Establish annual business plans, budgets, KPIs, and operational goals.
- Build scalable systems that support sustainable growth.
- Expand service offerings and identify new market opportunities.
- Develop long-term workforce planning strategies to meet future client demand.
- Partner with executive leadership to grow the Safety Services Division.
- Participate in sales presentations, proposals, contract negotiations, and executive client meetings.
- Develop relationships within construction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, petrochemical, mining, and turnaround markets.
- Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and executive leadership.
- Develop customized safety solutions that meet operational needs.
- Conduct executive-level client reviews and performance meetings.
- Support long-term client partnerships and contract renewals.
- Standardize safety consulting methodologies and operational procedures.
- Develop SOPs, inspection programs, audits, reporting systems, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA (where applicable), ANSI, NFPA, client-specific requirements, and applicable state regulations.
- Continuously improve service quality across all deployed safety personnel.
- Recruit and hire exceptional safety professionals.
- Develop competency models and career pathways.
- Mentor Safety Managers, Safety Coordinators, and Project Safety Professionals.
- Conduct coaching, performance evaluations, and succession planning.
- Direct deployment and scheduling of field safety personnel.
- Ensure projects are properly staffed with qualified professionals.
- Monitor project performance, staffing utilization, documentation, and deliverables.
- Improve operational efficiency through standardized processes.
- Manage division budgeting, forecasting, profitability, utilization, and cost controls.
- Review billing accuracy and project financial performance.
- Assist with pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
- Provide recommendations that improve financial performance while maintaining exceptional service.
- Lead quality management initiatives across the division.
- Conduct audits of projects and field personnel.
- Develop corrective action programs when needed.
- Maintain certification and accreditation standards.
- Build internal safety training programs.
- Promote continuing education and professional certifications.
- Support employees pursuing CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, STSC, OSHA Authorized Trainer, and related credentials.
- Prepare monthly operational and financial reports.
- Present division performance metrics, staffing updates, profitability, client satisfaction, and safety outcomes.

- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10 years of progressive safety management experience.
- 5 years of leadership experience.
- Extensive experience supporting industrial construction, heavy construction, shutdowns, turnarounds, maintenance, or similar industrial operations.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
- Experience building or managing a safety consulting practice or contract staffing operation.
- Business development and client relationship management experience.
- Financial management, budgeting, and operational leadership.
- Experience developing policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Proposal development and contract negotiation experience.
- CSP

- CHST
- First Aid/CPR and EMT certifications are a plus.
- Training will be provided, including CPR, First Aid, and Advanced First Aid certification.
