Huxley Optical is seeking a warm, detail-oriented Assistant Manager or Sales Associate to help lead our customer-first, neighborhood-focused eyewear boutique. We're a small team that is looking to add a goal oriented full time associate that can travel between our 2 locations. We believe in a healthy work-life balance and helping our customers look and feel good.
Compensation: Between $23-$30 an hour.
What You’ll Do:
- Open and close the shop with care and attention to detail
- Assist customers with frame selection and product education
- Understand customer concerns and help resolve them with empathy and efficiency
- Support pre-testing and clinic flow alongside our optometrist
- Learn and retain detailed eyewear knowledge — from lenses to fit and style
- Lead by example and support your teammates with positivity and professionalism
What We’re Looking For:
- Optical experience required.
- ABO Certification (preferred, but not required)
- Spanish-speaking candidates strongly encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- A passion for helping people feel confident and cared for
- Travel between locations.
- Travel is necesssary between our 2 locations
