Concrete Foreman

Hux Contracting is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead field crews on municipal and site concrete projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for directing daily operations, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and keeping projects on schedule.

Project Experience Required

Applicants must have practical field experience in:

• City Road Improvements
• Curb & Gutter
• Sidewalk installation
• ADA / Wheelchair Ramps
• End Walls
• Culverts
• Small structural concrete footings

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct concrete crews on active job sites
• Read and interpret plans, grades, and construction details
• Coordinate daily work activities, materials, and equipment
• Communicate effectively with superintendents and project managers
• Ensure work meets specifications, tolerances, and safety requirements
• Maintain production pace to meet schedules and deadlines
• Train crew members and maintain jobsite productivity

Requirements

• Proven experience as a concrete foreman (municipal/site concrete preferred)
• Ability to read construction plans and details accurately
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage and direct crew members
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Reliable, safety-focused, and organized
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards specific to construction sites involving concrete operations
