Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating and welding various materials, particularly in the construction and assembly of low pressure Piping and other oilfield components. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to industry codes and standards, and the ability to work effectively in a shop setting or on oilfield locations.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld components using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques.
• Assemble pipe manifolds and other structural parts according to specifications.
• Utilize tools such as micrometers for precise measurements.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to build structures accurately.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards during fabrication processes.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to maintain high standards.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with FCAW techniques.
• Familiarity with tig welding is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Understanding of industry codes and standards related to welding and fabrication.
• Previous experience working in shop settings is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
