Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Laborer sand blaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and construction tasks. This role involves working on industrial commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards. The Painter/Laborer will collaborate with other tradespeople and contribute to the overall success of renovation and restoration projects.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Assist with fixture installation and other maintenance person tasks as needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks, including renovation and remodeling projects.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in the following areas:
- Industrial painting & sandblasting experience minimum 2 years.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to painting and construction tasks.
