Hutto Family Eye Care is looking for an outgoing, energetic person with a friendly smile to join our fast-growing medical team. Our office is located in Hutto, and we take pride in providing excellent customer service. We utilize the latest technology available in eye care. Previous experience is not required—we do on-site training! Sales experience will help with transition. Office hours are Monday through Friday, and we are closed on the weekends to allow our team members quality time with their families.

Candidates should have a desire to help people and have the personality that is suited for both a sales-like position from a medical perspective. Patients will greatly appreciate your help as you guide them through the process of choosing the perfect eyewear for their lifestyles based on doctor recommendations. Having an eye for fashion with a mix of medical knowledge will be key to success in the position.

The pay range for experienced optical industry professionals is $18-$21.

For those looking to join the industry and enjoy the benefit of on-site training the pay range is $16-$17.

Job Duties include any/all of the following:

Deliver excellent warm customer service with a smile

Frame styling to assist patients in choosing the perfect frame to suit their fashion.

Interpreting prescriptions and educating patients on the latest lens options.

Ordering of lenses and frames along with applying patient insurance benefits.

Filing insurance claims.

Troubleshooting patient vision complaints and concerns along with any issues with glasses

Dispensing eyewear and making adjustments to the frame to better fit the patient’s face

Advancement Opportunities:
