Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pipe Welder located in Indianapolis, IN. The Pipe Welder will be responsible for welding various types of materials using techniques such as TIG, MIG, and Arc welding. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, ensuring proper weld quality, and adhering to safety protocols and industry standards. Collaboration with a team to meet project deadlines is a key aspect of the role, along with maintaining equipment and tools in excellent working condition.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in welding techniques, including TIG Welding and MIG Welding
- Familiarity with various Materials used in pipe welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in varying environments
- Experience with pipe welding is preferred
- Relevant certifications and training in welding are a plus
