Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Custom Applicator and Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pest control, or farm-related work. This position offers an opportunity to work with a variety of tools and equipment in a dynamic outdoor environment.
Duties:
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other crop protection products accurately and safely.
-Able to drive a semi in the off season of applicating.
- Operate and maintain application equipment such as sprayers and spreaders
- Follow safety procedures and regulations while handling chemicals
- Keep accurate records of applications and inventory
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide recommendations
Qualifications:
- farm-related work
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery
- Ability to drive and operate application equipment and semi.
- Strong sales skills to recommend products and services to customers
- Familiarity with different types of crops and their specific needs
