Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, providing support, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Support recruitment efforts for production positions and the onboarding process to support a safe and smooth integration into our team.
- HR Operations: Administer HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards.
- Attendance & Leave Management: Monitor attendance, manage leave requests, and support timekeeping systems.
- Training & Development: Assist in coordinating training programs and tracking employee development initiatives.
- Performance Management: Support performance review cycles and provide guidance to managers and employees.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; prepare HR reports and metrics as needed.
- Engagement & Culture: Champion employee engagement initiatives and recognition efforts to enhance morale and retention.
- Safety & Compliance: Participates in, understands, supports, and adheres to all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-4 years of HR experience in a three shift manufacturing setting, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS & payroll systems (preferably ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
