Diesel Mechanic
We utilize large diesel-powered equipment to mine salt. We are looking for a motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines including repairs to the fuel system, electrical system, exhaust system, cooling system, etc.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all components of a diesel engine including oil changes, coolant changes, etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair problems on a diesel engine as needed to maintain the highest level of safety.
- Maintain the highest level of work ethics and performance while performing all duties in accordance with company standards and procedures.
- Work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team working with other technicians to complete an overall repair or service job.
- Must be able to read & follow written instructions as well as follow oral instruction in English.
- Must be able to use laptop diagnostic tools.
- Must be able to work weekends as needed to meet safety and production goals.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
- Must be able to be contacted by phone outside of work hours. (Emergency repairs)

Pay: $28.58 - $33.10 per hour
