Repairs and maintains the healthcare system's facilities, systems, and equipment.
Essential Responsibilities:

- Receive and complete work order requests for facilities maintenance. Ensures work is performed in a timely manner and triage requests to prioritize the most critical repairs.
- Inspect and perform preventative maintenance or as-needed repairs on facilities or systems, which may include mechanical or electrical systems, HVAC or other environmental management systems, generators or power management systems, or fire or safety systems.
- Make basic repairs and coordinate the work of specialists when more complex repairs are needed.
- Schedule maintenance or repairs to minimize disruptions to organizational operations wherever possible.
- Provide assistance in responding to fire alarms and other codes.
- Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values.
- Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Kansas Driver’s License (if position requires driving)
- Auto Insurance equal to or greater than the Kansas Insurance requirements (if position requires driving)

- Previous experience in a similar environment.
Preferred License/Certifications/Registrations
- Completion of an approved apprenticeship program
- Journeyman licensure
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Physical Stamina.
- Self-direction and the ability to follow directions.
- Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
