A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LICENSED NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR
As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you play a vital role in our community. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose! You provide overall management of the day-to-day operations of the community, starting with maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You ensure continuity and consistency in delivery and quality of resident services, participate in sales and marketing activities, training and development of staff, development and implementation of programs to enhance resident satisfaction, and establishment of a climate necessary for continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LICENSED NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR
- KS NHA License
- 3 years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Medicare and Medicaid knowledge
- Strong leadership skills
- A degree in healthcare, business, or related field is preferred.
