As a Bankruptcy Administrative Assistant in our Columbia Office, you will be responsible for performing clerical and support duties and providing administrative support to the bankruptcy department.

- Draft bankruptcy pleadings
- Input data, update websites, and perform status inquiries
- File, image and copy documents as needed
- Maintain calendar of appointments
- Update firms case management software with appropriate information relating to each file

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Office
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize numerous tasks on a high-volume team

- 1-2 years of experience in an office setting
- Bankruptcy experience
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files (up to 15 lbs), open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
