Assistant, Estimating

Sales/Estimating Assistant Responsibilities:

• Work with Sales/Estimating staff to draft proposals in preparation for submission
• Apply for permits and order certificates of insurance for projects
• Request miss dig on jobs and assist miss dig workers with ongoing coordination
• Request and turn in submittals
• Order and execute bonds
• Review project specifications during the bidding process
• Execute and prepare prime bids for delivery
• Create project map in Microsoft publisher
• Various other office tasks as required (I.e., light cleaning, ordering supplies, answering phone calls, general administrative support)

Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Must be proficient in the use of general office equipment (including but not limited to printer/copier/fax machine)
• Experience with CRM software is a plus 
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation 
• Excellent communication with experience in customer service
