POSITION SUMMARY
The Head Women's Volleyball Coach is a full-time 12- month position that reports to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the RRAC and NAIA Division II Intercollegiate athletics programs including recruiting, game preparation, administrative duties, budget management, scheduling, and booking travel arrangements.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Procuring and maintaining volleyball equipment
- Promoting the volleyball program
- Making fundraising recommendations
- Monitoring the academic progress of student‑athletes
- Ensuring adherence to institutional, NAIA, and RRAC conference rules and regulations by staff and student-athletes
- Recommending and supervising assistant coaches
- Assisting with academic enhancement reporting
- Performing additional duties assigned by the Director of Athletics within the scope of the position
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Previous collegiate-level coaching experience
- Experience serving as a head coach or having closely related experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Knowledge of RRAC and NAIA Division II rules and regulations
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, and fiscal management
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to plan, organize, and provide leadership and direction
- Ability to explain rules, guidelines, and regulations
- Ability to complete required reports, forms, and other documentation
SUPERVISION
- This position reports to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.
SALARY RANGE
- $43,260 Annually, plus benefits!
