Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the HVAC/R business
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), technician productivity, job quality, analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Analyze KPIs and financial reports to reduce costs and increase profitability
- Drive revenue growth through strong sales strategies and operational alignment
- Lead, coach, and develop managers, technician and support staff
- Create a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
- Implement best practices and process improvements across the business
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance
- Forecast manpower requirements Build, develop and maintain customer satisfaction through responsive communication, quality service and quick resolution on issues
- Maintain and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety programs, including all required certifications, licensing, and training for compliance
- Perform all other duties as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field and/or equivalent level of experience
- 5 years of increasing leadership experience in the HVAC and/or Refrigeration industry (Minimum eight years of operations experience preferably in a service environment. Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing multiple locations.)
- Knowledge of commercial refrigeration and HVAC principles and practices, including service hour estimation, labor forecasting, construction management, and multiple disciplines involved in area of responsibility
- Proven success managing P&L responsibilities
- Proficiency in managing multiple assignments, setting and balancing competing priorities with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Strong understanding of HVAC/R operations, scheduling, and workflow management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and initiative
- Leverage Operational Excellence tools and initiatives such as BSC, maturity roadmaps, Six Sigma, Lean, and etc
- Direct branch operations in a safe, effective and environmentally responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations and guideline.
- This position is based in the United States and must reside within a 50-mile radius of a major international airport. This role is remote eligible, when not travelling, which is approximately 50-60%.
