Responsibilities
- Drive strategy execution: Lead enterprise security programs end-to-end — Zero Trust, cloud security, data protection, identity, and incident response.
- Shape the roadmap: Translate business goals and threat trends into a multi-year roadmap, KPIs, and a defensible budget.
- Build the team: Mentor and develop a team of cybersecurity professionals; raise the bar on talent, performance, and culture.
- Run operations: Direct day-to-day operations across SOC, vulnerability management, IAM, and security engineering.
- Own the response: Lead incident response, partner with IT and the business to contain, recover, and learn from events.
- Govern risk: Maintain alignment to NIST CSF and applicable regulations; report risk and progress clearly to executives and the board.
- Manage vendors: Evaluate and manage strategic security vendors, contracts, and partnerships.
What You Bring
- 10 years in cybersecurity, including 3 years leading teams or programs at the senior level.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field — or equivalent experience.
- Track record delivering enterprise programs (Zero Trust, cloud security, data protection, IAM, or similar).
- Hands-on fluency with modern security tooling: SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, and cloud security (Azure and/or AWS).
- Strong grasp of NIST CSF and how to operationalize it.
- Executive-level communication: you can brief a board, negotiate with a vendor, and coach an analyst — all in the same week.
- Calm, decisive judgment under pressure.
- CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, or OT/IoT environments.
- Background scaling security in a hybrid cloud, multi-site enterprise.
