Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and enthusiasm
- Decorate donuts creatively to meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using Square POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the café area, including food handling and preparation
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy while performing cashier duties
- Assist in stocking supplies, organizing display cases, and ensuring the café remains inviting and well-maintained
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between serving customers, preparing drinks, and decorating donuts
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is a plus but not a must
- Experience with POS systems is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food preparation and serving
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality for early morning shifts
