What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineering Intern - Summer 2026 position at Hurt & Proffitt?
We are seeking candidates interested in a summer internship in our Blacksburg office, which focuses on all aspects of civil engineering and design, including water resources, land development and transportation.
Interested candidates must be willing to work a minimum of 35 hours per week between June and mid-August, 2026. Dates of the actual internship may vary depending upon class schedules and other commitments. This is a paid internship, but we do not provide housing allowances, so the selected candidate will need to be in Blacksburg for the summer months.
We strive to provide a meaningful experience for selected candidates: the selected individual will work on active projects and gain hands-on experience.
