Professional Land Surveyor
East St. Louis or Hillsboro, IL
Hurst-Rosche has an exciting opportunity for a Professional Land Surveyor based out of our East St. Louis or Hillsboro, IL office. We are an integrated design firm that unites a diverse team of architects, engineers, surveyors, and industry specialists driven to help solve our clients' greatest challenges. The position duties will include:
· Perform/manage a wide range of field surveying activities such as boundary, ALTA, DOT, municipal, topographical, construction, geodetic, etc. utilizing robotic total stations and GPS at a variety of sites and field conditions
· Perform/manage survey, parcel, right of way and easement record research at a variety of public and private facilities
· Perform survey calculations, write legal descriptions, prepare staking files, perform volume calculations, create, check and certify plats and plans
· Provide coordination related to field survey personnel and office staff to support survey work requests and comply with Office and Project Managers
Qualified candidates must have a Current Professional Land Survey License with a minimum of 4 years of related experience. Hurst-Rosche will request additional state licensures be obtained. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, Trimble Robotic Total Stations and GPS units preferred. Excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential.
