Duties
- Perform oil and filter changes efficiently while adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety protocols
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections, including tire condition, fluid levels, and brake checks
- Assist with tire service, including rotation, balancing, and replacement
- Support alignment procedures by preparing vehicles and assisting with diagnostic tools as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks accurately and safely
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle’s needs and recommend additional services when appropriate
Skills
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during tire rotations or parts replacement
- Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with clients and explain services clearly
- Basic understanding of automotive systems such as brakes, suspension, and engines
- Willingness to learn new skills related to alignment, tire service, and general maintenance tasks
