Duties
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and other routine vehicle maintenance with precision and efficiency
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with state safety regulations and identify mechanical issues
- Assist customers by explaining services performed, recommending additional maintenance or repairs, and ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and services performed in accordance with state inspection requirements
- Support the service team by handling light mechanical repairs and assisting with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols during all procedures, including heavy lifting and the use of power tools
Qualification
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and diagnostics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire service, alignments, and general repairs
- Experience performing vehicle inspections in accordance with state regulations (State Inspector certification preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Basic sales skills to recommend additional services or maintenance options to customers
