Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, and residential painting. The Maintenance Technician will utilize schematics, and tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems using schematics and diagnostic tools like ohmmeters
- Repair or replace faulty components, including welding repairs when necessary
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
- Support facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, HVAC, or electrical repairs
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and safety
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting
- Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting projects is advantageous
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams fluently in English
- Experience with Ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools for electrical testing
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external contractors
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
