Hurricane Express provides our Driver Team Members with high-quality Class 8 tractor-trailer equipment. Our customized Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks are maintained by skilled diesel mechanics, ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $26 to $32 per hour, depending on experience, along with a $2,500 sign-on bonus!
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance on all Class 8 tractors.
- Identify warranty-covered repairs and document them on the repair order.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Conduct road tests on vehicles as needed to diagnose issues or verify proper operation.
- Utilize hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools including pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, jacks, and hoists.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of three years of practical experience in Class 8 tractor maintenance is required.
- Vocational or technical certification is preferred.
- Specialized training in the repair and replacement of vehicle components is preferred.
- Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems are preferred.
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions is required.
- Regular and predictable attendance is crucial for the job.
- Must possess tools and a suitable toolbox for a diesel mechanic.
