Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or commensurate work experience
- Minimum 1- 2 years of relevant experience in consulting, finance, higher education, and/or accounting
- Previous experience implementing Workday with a focus on Customer Accounts, Banking and Settlements or expenses. Workday Certification is a PLUS.
- Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments
- Functional expertise in regulations and processes; understanding of higher ed financials requirements across various types of institutions
- Demonstrated knowledge in academic structure, organizational assessment, and strategic planning.
- Exceptional advanced Excel skills (including modeling and macros)
- An MBA or other relevant advanced degree
- Expertise in the Financials function, processes and best practices
- Experience as a functional application specialist
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
- The ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level university executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism
- The ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions
- Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration
- Strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams
- A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies
