Duties
- Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff management.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Manage employee orientation programs to onboard new hires effectively.
- Oversee cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory management tasks such as stock ordering, purchasing, stock rotation, and inventory audits.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, store policies, and health standards across all operations.
- Lead shift management duties including scheduling staff coverage during peak hours and managing daily store activities.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a retail environment with supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrated success in retail sales management, team leadership, and customer service excellence.
- Strong background in inventory management, purchasing, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling.
- Experience with POS systems and retail math for pricing strategies and sales analysis.
- Prior experience in recruiting, training & development programs is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively.
- Strong communication skills for coaching staff and engaging customers confidently.
