Outpatient Assistant / ABA Case Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Outpatient Assistant / ABA Case Manager to join our Outpatient Services Department. This position serves as a front-line staff member supporting children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances or developmental disabilities, as well as adults with persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
You will provide case management for Autism Benefit enrollees and administrative support for outpatient services, ensuring smooth coordination of care and compliance with state and agency standards.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management Duties
- Monitor and document Autism Benefit enrollments, authorizations, provider changes, and disenrollments.
- Complete Individual Plans of Service (IPOS), periodic reviews, and monthly progress notes.
- Collaborate with psychologists and ABA service providers to ensure fidelity to state requirements.
- Provide face-to-face contact with consumers as required by IPOS (minimum quarterly).
- Conduct discharge and aftercare planning when clinically indicated.
- Offer emergency and crisis assistance during and after office hours.
Outpatient Administrative Duties
- Provide clerical support for the Outpatient Department.
- Track IPOS due dates, annual consents, and coordination of care signatures.
- Complete ABDs and discharge summaries; send re-engagement letters.
- Assist with Medicaid enrollment and organize OPT paperwork.
- Compose routine correspondence and assist with data collection for program goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related human services field.
- Licensure: Current Michigan license required; LLBSW or LBSW strongly preferred.
- Experience: Two years in a community outpatient mental health setting preferred.

Pay: $23.64 - $30.77 per hour
