We are seeking an experienced and highly dependable Project Manager to oversee projects from quotation through production and successful delivery.

Position Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for estimating jobs, creating and managing work orders, coordinating production requirements, and ensuring projects are completed on time and profitably. This individual will serve as a key link between customers, engineering, and manufacturing, helping drive operational success while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for precision sheet metal fabrication projects.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Generate and maintain detailed work orders and job documentation.
• Plan and coordinate project schedules with production teams.
• Monitor project costs, timelines, and profitability from start to finish.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding project status, changes, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure successful project execution.
• Identify and resolve production challenges proactively.
• Track project performance and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure all jobs meet customer requirements, quality standards, and delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Project Management, Estimating, or Manufacturing Management role within the sheet metal fabrication industry.
• Strong understanding of precision sheet metal fabrication processes including laser cutting, water jet cutting, punching, forming, welding, and finishing
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience preparing estimates, costing, and production planning.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office, and manufacturing software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
