Responsibilities:
- implement occupational therapy programs that focus on short term rehabilitation as well as restorative and skilled maintenance programs for our inhouse residents
- Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
- Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
- Record and document patient progress
- Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded patient centered care
- Supervision of a COTA
Qualifications:
- NYS licensed as a Occupational Therapist
- New Grads are welcome to apply
- Ability to build rapport with patients and staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
