Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable, skilled Truck & Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. If you have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and heavy equipment, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Repair and service diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair brakes, suspension, steering, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications:
- Experience working on diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and air brake systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus but not required.
