Hupp Toyotalift is looking for full-time Field Service Technician/Mechanic to perform diagnostics, periodic maintenance and scheduled/unscheduled repairs on material handling equipment. Duties:
Increase productivity and skills through training and development.
Efficiently perform quality repairs on lift trucks and other industrial equipment.
Identify and execute warranty and recall repairs.
Execute quality control and safety inspections to ensure equipment, vehicles and tools are properly maintained.
Complete work assignments in a safe and satisfactory manner, according to the needs of both the customer and established protocols.
Effectively communicate with and work alongside multiple departments to best service customer requirements.
Willingness to learn and perform maintenance on hydraulic systems, electrical systems, diesel engines, electric motors, transmissions and other drivetrain components.
Travel to customer locations to perform duties (service van provided).
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid Stateside Driver’s License with clean driving record.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Provide/use own tools (start-up employee buying program available if required).
Must be able to follow directions and adhere to all mechanical and safety procedures.
Be able to operate power tools, hoists, hydraulics tools and material handling equipment (training will be provided).
Be able to complete strenuous work, occasionally lifting up to 80 lbs.
Mechanical experience or a degree/certification in field desirable, but not required.
Industry experience is a plus, but not required.
