Huot is seeking a full time Spot Welder, reporting to our Production Manager. Hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities Include:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Set up and operation of all spot welders to produce sheet metal parts

* Mig/Tig welding of sheet metal and aluminum

* Inspects welds and parts for conformance to print and quality standards.

* Assisting in keeping welding department clean and organized.

* Maintain Mig/Tig machines, wires, clamps, tools, and gas

* Reports discrepancies and works with supervisor to problem solve.

* Works with supervisor to maintain equipment needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School diploma or GED.

* Ability to read blue prints

* Experience with a caliper

* Two years of spot welding experience

* One year of Mig/Tig welding experience

* Must be able to hold and lift items repeatedly

* Ability to lift 50 pounds

Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is $25.00 to - $32.00 per hour. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
