Our client in business for 12 yrs is one of the areas fastest growing, up and coming movers and shakers in the Structural Engineering/Civil Site Consulting Engineering industry here in the NEPA region. Ideal candidates will be a registered Professional Engineers with at least 5 years of experience in the design of building structures, or have a EIT already and able to sit for the PE in the future. Candidates should have experience with project management including building and maintaining client relations and working with a team to successfully complete complex Structural design projects.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Structural Engineer located in Scranton, PA. The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for calculations, structural analysis, structural engineering, project management, and computer-aided design (CAD or Revit) on a day-to-day basis.
Required Qualifications
- Calculations and Structural Analysis skills for building projects
- Experience in Structural Engineering
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Revit a plus
- Proficiency with wood, steel, masonry and concrete design
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural Engineering or Structural Engineering or related field
- EIT required, Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
- This is an in office position at our Scranton, PA office
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or masters degree in architectural, civil or structural engineering.
- EIT certification required, PE preferred
- Minimum of 5 years career experience.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Self-motivating and ability to multi-task while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- Ability to act with business integrity and professionalism'
- Applicant must be able to commute to our Scranton, PA location. This is an in office position
