Shape the future of Environmental Engineering Services in the entire state of Texas across all 4 offices and major Texas markets. My client, a 500 million dollar a year, 3500 person, 80 offices National AEC firm has 4 offices across Texas (Houston, DFW, Austin, San Antonio) and this Director Level role can sit in any of them.


We are seeking an experienced and visionary Regional Director of Environmental Services to drive innovation, growth, and excellence within our Environmental Services discipline for team members located in Texas. This is a unique leadership opportunity for a professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, technical expertise, and team development. This is more than just a management position, it’s a chance to influence the direction of my clients Environmental Services discipline and make a lasting impact on the communities of Texas, their clients, and the environment. A hybrid work arrangement is an option.


In this role, you’ll oversee the professional, technical, managerial, marketing, administrative, and financial performance of the Environmental Services discipline across the Texas and surrounding states within the region. You’ll provide strategic direction, champion business development, and ensure operational excellence while leading and mentoring your Geographic Market Leaders.


Responsibilities


  • Provides leadership, managerial direction and guidance for the region to achieve established goals.
  • Directs overall productivity, profitability, client satisfaction and quality of work.
  • Responsible for discipline marketing and business development.
  • Actively involved in the cross selling of all company services.
  • Responsible for billings and collections.
  • Works with the geographic market leaders on resource sharing and staffing needs.
  • Responsible for regional training and staff development.
  • Monitor staff utilization regularly and take corrective action if necessary.
  • Complies with and ensures others compliance with all corporate policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Health and Safety Program.
  • Travels (via car or airplane) regularly to the various regions and offices.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 20 years of progressive leadership and managerial experience in the industry.
  • Professional licensure in area of expertise (LSRP, PE, PG)

  • Communication- Possess and demonstrate the ability, skills, and initiative to exchange information effectively and efficiently.
  • Program and Project Management- Possess and demonstrate the ability to lead effectively and efficiently, plan, organize and manage procedures, protocols and/or staff to achieve the desired results of specific projects and/or programs.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: Base salary $180,000 - $220,000 per year (depending on your specific qualifications) performance comp = expected range total comp range 270K-300K You will benefit financially directly from your own P&L and performance
