What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist- Outpatient Therapy position at Huntsville Hospital System?
Overview
The RPT assumes primary responsibility for evaluation of the patient, planning, implementing, supervising, reevaluating and changing the treatment program. The therapist maintains adequate records and documents the appropriate progress reports and patient education. The therapist supervises support staff and students as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of APTA accredited educational program for Physical Therapists required
License, Certification and/or registration: Must have current Alabama license. Must receive BCLS certification within orientation period.Prefer member of APTA.
Additional skills/abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment.
