What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boston – Labor and Employment Attorney position at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP?
The Boston office of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP seeks an attorney to join its labor and employment team as a non-partnership track salaried attorney. An attorney in this position will be benefits-eligible and it is anticipated that this position would have a billable hour expectation of 1400 – 1800. The ideal candidate will have at least five years (class of 2020) of law firm experience in labor and employment and must be capable of running litigation matters, taking depositions, and handling hearings. It is anticipated that the person in this role will interact with clients and run their own cases, but in a reduced hours arrangement. A successful candidate will have strong analytical, research and writing skills. Telecommuting arrangements may be considered from a home office in any location in Massachusetts, but Boston is preferred. Active Massachusetts bar membership is required. At the time of posting, the expected salary range for this position is $150,000 to $275,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, education, training, skill sets, licensure and certifications, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
